Lawton has made my dream a reality!! I attended Lawton in "99" for Computerized Office Assisting and since then, I have become an Professional Business Owner. I also invested my time back in to Lawton as an Advisory Board Member.  I loved the one on one relationship with my teacher and the learning experience Lawton provided. If I did not begin my training at Lawton, I would not be the person I am today! - Sky Hunter

Going back to school is one of the best decisions I ever made and the last thing I anticipated I would be doing. At first I wasn't sure of a field of study to go into. So I began looking into the medical field because it seemed all the future jobs would be in a hospital or a doctor's office. After looking on-line at various schools I was steered to Lawton Career Institute Paralegal program.

I wondered into Lawton after stopping by a couple other schools just to get a feel of the school and to see what was offered. I was instantly greeted by staff who took me on a tour of the property and explained everything I needed to know about the schools programs from start to finish. A short time later I met with the admissions team and I was still reluctant and a little nervous about going back to school after being out of school for so many years. The admissions team and all of the administrative staff were terrific in guiding me through the registration process.

When classes started I was still nervous about what was ahead for me. My teacher was extremely encouraging and assured me and the rest of the class not to worry that everything would get easier to understand in just a short while; especially during our frustrations with getting into a routine of daily and weekly assignments to be completed. She was right, after just a few weeks everything started to click and the lessons became easier and easier to understand.

In the beginning it seemed like 10 months would be forever but time flew and before I knew it I was graduating. From the moment I went to Lawton to the time I graduated and even now the experience has been extremely rewarding. I am inspired and motivated to continue to reach for more as a result of the great staff and education offered at Lawton Career Institute. - Kimberly Craig
